The Ark of Noah was established in 2018 as a 501(c)(3). It was created to provide services to conquerors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking and to empower those who have conquered life’s challenges.
Our Vision & Purpose
We will help survivors reclaim their crowns by fostering a community of support and education.
We are here to assist in the transition process from victim to survivor to conqueror. This includes programs to equip clients with the tools and resources they need to effectively parent, co-parent, educational/career assistance, and self esteem workshops for adults and teens.
Our empowerment programs reach all those faced by traumatic experiences or life’s challenges in finding their way back to a better version of themselves. We leverage community workshops to help bring awareness to domestic violence and sexual assault. We will offer legal resources to help navigate through the various legal hurdles one may face and our Men’s Advocacy will serve as outreach in the community.

Cassandra Cherry
After an extremely toxic relationship that changed her life in many ways, her desire to support other battered women and children grew tremendously.
Having personally gone through countless police, court, family, and friend interactions, with heavy guilt, shame, disappointment, and pain, she knows firsthand what many experiencing domestic violence are feeling.
With limited local family support of her own, she understands many of the hard decisions women often face alone and the tough, yet courageous, steps they must take to ensure their and their children's safety. Establishing a nonprofit organization to walk alongside other women in their journey to reclaim their crowns, is her purpose in life.
She is committed to doing the work that it takes to prevent, reduce, and one day, eliminate violence against women.
She is a fearless leader, who doesn’t shy away from obstacles or challenges to ensure clients' well-being is a top priority. Upon meeting Cassandra, you’ll quickly notice that her compassion for all and outgoing personality, solidifies you as part of the family.
